Are you trying to sell to me that Spartans, genetically augmented soldiers from 500 years in the future can’t sprint? Go back and play original Halos on TMCC, it’s still immense fun but it can get tedious at times, trudging along at snail’s pace. Then play Halo 4 (or 5 if you hate 4, which I don’t understand), you feel less held back being able to change your pace, thruster etc. It is a step in the right direction, I honestly believe people who are anti-sprint are either 1. Bungie Fanboys/Girls 2. 343i haters 3. People who hate change. I have a solution for all three 1. Play the Bungie Halo games 2. Don’t play 343i Halo games 3. Stick with playing Halo 2 for the rest of your life. Don’t get me wrong, I love Halo, it’s probably my favourite game series of all time, but change is needed and will always happen, get over it. Also, players can’t sprint away in a fight, their shields won’t regen while they run and you shoot their back a bit and they die.
