When I try to play halo 2 through MCC on steam after every game of Halo 2 that I play I receive this message (listed below). The only way for me to queue up again is to verify my game files on steam. This takes about 10 mins for me and is very annoying. Any help is certainly appreciated!

This. It looks like the checksum for a map is not valid and needs to be re-downloaded.

I’ve done this multiple times. Yet i still get this error when I enter any H2 game. I can still play the one game I enter but have to do this process everytime.
I’ve Reinstalled the game twice.

Strange. Do you have any other drives you can try installing to?
Can you deactivate / turn off any non-mcc programs while trying to play? So just have Steam and MCC running.
