Hi I was super hyped to load in and play season 6 when I go to play social games and it says that an anti cheat error regarding tempbin skins has occurred and I cannot play. I play on pc through steam . If anyone could offer any words of advice that would be great. Some more info. It seems to regard halo 2 campaign so I uninstalled that game and it worked fine but I turn off my computer for a second and I come back and the issue has re-emerged despite halo 2 campaign not being installed
Verify integrity of game files. Steam will let you know how many files failed to validate and will reacquire them, if needed. Depending on how many games on MCC you’ve installed, it could take a while
If all else fails, reinstall the game
Go to your main storage device whether that’s your SSD or HDD and:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)
Click on the “Easy Anti-Cheat” Folder
Open the “Easy Anti-Cheat” .exe file
Then using the dropdown choose “Halo: Master Chief Collection” and Hit Repair
That worked for me but I downloaded my game from the Windows Store So I don’t know if it works with Steam.

If you downloaded Halo from Steam, close Steam, then go to “%ProgramFiles(x86)%\steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\installers” and run the easyanticheat_setup.exe file. Click on “Repair service” once the Easy Anti-Cheat program opens. Click finish, then start your game.
