anti cheat error wont let me play! SOLVED

Finally spent 13hrs downloading H2 but it wont let me play. The following error says:
“You cannot matchmake due to the following anti cheat issue. Unknown file version (halo 2/halo2.dll).”

I had no problems with reach or h1. I’m on steam.

Have you tried verifying the files if your on Steam?

Thx for help i havnt. Howd u do that? Already 50% redownloaded so well see if that happens again.

Go into game properties, and in the install section there should be an option to verify game files integrity.
