Was gonna reply to someone about this, though, I feel like this would be a good thing to post instead.
Anti-cheat, it’s amazing, I love it. Though I am concerned that the multiplayer is free-to-play. Like Warzone, they’re making the multiplayer public for free.
Why Is That An Issue?
Well, for example, if someone has access to a game, what stops them from cheating? Sure, a ban might be good enough, though, there are ways around them. In my opinion, the main reason that stops people from cheating is making the game itself cost money. With the multiplayer being free, this opens so many doors for people to cheat in-game and possibly get around a user-ban. I’m not an expert on the subject as I don’t buy cheats but I know people who simply just have a spoofer and get around perma-bans. So, I personally believe they should make the multiplayer cost money. I love Halo, I don’t wanna see what happened to Warzone to happen here. Anti-cheat is good, it doesn’t stop everything though unfortunately.
Possible Solution
#1. Make the full-game cost $60.00
#2. Split the cost. $30.00 / $30.00 (Multiplayer/Campaign)
#3. Section ranked play with a paid access, they already have a battlepass, not a huge change.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on a topic, these are just my thoughts.
