Another -Yoinking!- Disconnection Rant

What the -Yoink- 343?

Listen, I don’t know that much about how dedicated servers work. I’m a -Yoinking!- Theatre major, but still, this many disconnects can’t be normal. Also, my friend using the same WiFi on the same Xbox can play COD just fine with no problems.

I don’t want to play a match, do something incredibly awesome, and then not have it count! I do love the moment-to-moment gameplay, but I’m also working on completing commendations and some of those are -Yoinking!- hard to get. So when I get a kill with a difficult weapon, kill a difficult boss, or destroy a vehicle, I would like to be assured that it will -Yoinking!- count.

This is made more frustrating by the fact that some players have no disconnections whatsoever. Good for them of course, but it downplays the actual issues some players have with the servers. Is it a low player count? Am I being connected to servers far away? I don’t understand, but I’m aware that there are problems for some of us.

Has 343 addressed these issues? Listen, I’m not a developer. I don’t know how one would address the issues. It’s just incredibly frustrating as a player to constantly be disconnected. I’ve restarted my console, I’ve checked my WiFi, talked to my ISP, done all this and that. Still, ever since their first major update, problems persist.

I’ve written dozens of similar forum posts to remind whoever from 343 reads there are still server issues.

Fine for me.
Since there’s no split screen, my friends bring their xbox ones over and we all play Halo 5 together using the same router. (although we use ethernet cables, not sure how big a difference that is) and have yet to see a disconnect.

I’ve had disconnection issues since late Novemeber. According to what I’ve read in the support forum, 343 are looking for a solution.
