Another Sheild-popping thread - BR related

Does the BR not show a shield popping animation? Watch the two kills at this time stamp (I hope were allowed to post links) and you’ll see that the player turns fully red but also dies on the same BR shot. It doesn’t give perfect kill medals either so I assume there should have been a shield pop somewhere here?

I could be mistaken but it seems like the shield popping animation is just the brief full red highlight. Perhaps the enemy spartan was killed too quickly with the swift BR burst but maybe I am not seeing what you are!

Thanks for the reply, Beattrap. I see that full red animation. What Im wondering is does the BR pop shield and turn a kill on the same trigger pull? Those animations happen after the player is dead in the link.

I found it really difficult to tell when a shield popped playing the game and notice it is just as difficult when watching a video. Hopefully this is changed in the final product as I’ve never had a hard time telling the shield has popped in any other Halo game.

I gotcha. Yeah to me it seems like the kill was done on the same trigger pull that popped the shield but I could be wrong or it could be some issues with the functionality of the flight, who knows!

I can tell but its very subtle seeing the shield pop it shouldn’t be this hard to see it.
