I believe the upcoming update might be Sangheili themed! By the looks of the last community update that Bravo posted we might get a Sangheili canvas along with the Sangheili architecture, if that’s the case do you guys think that we might get some another Sangheili map for Arena? Do you also believe we might get another Snagheili map for Warzone with Kraken Assualt gamemode that 343i mentioned?
I’m all for more Sangheili… Can’t have too much of a good thing in this regard
i love the sanghelli, i love the covenant. anything that is one of those themes i love (except the plasma turret it is terrible). I really hope this update is all about the sangheili maybe they will even name it ‘The Swords of Sangheliios’. But to answer your questions:

I think we will get an arena map that looks similar to Temple (the warzone assault map)

I think they will use the map Temple and one new map for the game mode. But i would not mind another map cough Attack on Sanctum cough
Awhile back Tom French was asking on twitter for objects players would want to see for a Sanghelios themed forge canvas, and the screenshots in the update definitely had some of those suggested objects. Right now, I think a canvas is very likely.

Great! Hopefully in the next community update we get to see more sneak peaks of Forge goodies and possibly a better close up of the Sangheilios themed canvas. I hope that they add more than just objects though, I’ve been longing for some wildlife to appear in Forge.
I would prefer a Sangheili Themed Update over more of that All-The-Same-Human-Architecture Update all the Time. But more, than That, I would prefer a Covenant Themed Update (for the Multi Maps Part), cause of the Variety… I want more Purple/Magenta, like there was in older Halos… Or I would love Settings of Halo 2: Anniversary or the Reach CE: Anniversary DLC Maps. I mean:
Shrine
Warlord
Battle Creak
Solitary
High Noon
Blood Line
Remnant
…just to Name a Few. That were such pretty and amazing Maps from the Atmosphere/Style, but that’s Kind of Off-Topic.
But to answer your Question:

They’ve mentioned it in the past that they might be working on a kraken assualt type of game mode were im guessing one enemy team controls the kraken and the other team has to raid it or destroy it, that’s my guess though. They haven’t mentioned it at all recently and I’m pretty sure they’re either working on it or they abandoned the idea for it.

Hmm… I guess it wouldn’t work really well… I mean, how is the opposed Team going to Fight against it…? On existing Maps there is the Height Limit and even if it wasn’t there, what’s if ur Team doesn’t have Air Vehicles…? Destroy it’s Legs to bring it down…? What’s in the Meantime with the Other Team, that’s inside the Kraken…? Are they just going to Wait…? There are so many Factors, haha… :'D
But my Break is now over, so I can’t bring them all up, maybe later… ^^
But I’m all for the Sangheili Canvas and Themed Update!

Tom French is literally the best thing 343 has up its sleeve.
That said, the new Forge objects look really great, it is quite hard to imitate covenant architecture believably with the stock Forge pieces so I’m looking forward to this.
I hope we get a new canvas, but even more I hope that one day we will finally be able to play as the Sangheili once more (I truly miss Elite Slayer).

Yeah being able to place those beetles you can shoot would be cool. There are light bugs in the effects category that you can place; so more wildlife in forge wouldn’t surprise me! I can’t recall if there were any other creatures in the Sanghelios levels other then the beetles though.
They should make more maps on Sanghelios
srry but just had to comment seeing how u mentionned h2a maps. I srsly wish they really DO bring in some H2A maps, especially Remnant. That has tobe the most beautiful map imo, i just love the lighting and how the weather is and stuff. Truly wonderful to play in.

good to hear, i need a forge canvas that actually like. such as, sangheilios or a flood infected planet.
