Another question about the map count.

20 maps at launch means that there is going to be 20 PLAYABLE maps at launch.

It doesn’t mean 14 playable and 6 locked maps that aren’t playable at launch.

20 maps at launch means exactly that. 20maps playable!

So unless 343 are lying well that means there should be
A. 20playable maps on day one!
B. Atleast 3 x maps released in two weeks time for BTB
C. And since they said Forge maps do not count towards the 20maps at launch there should ALSO BE an extra 4 maps MINIMUM at launch.

  1. Pegasus
  2. Orion
  3. Crossfire
  4. Trench

This means that at launch there should be 24 playable minimum possibly more on day 1.
And BTB should take that up to 27playable maps minimum about two weeks AFTER launch.

So here’s my question…

Since forge maps are not technically included in the 20 launch maps even though they will be there on day 1 making the map list higher than 20 maps…

Does that mean that break out for example may come with more maps other than just cross fire and trench on day one?

I mean heh, according to 343 forge maps don’t count towards the 20 maps on day one. So what is 343 actually saying?

Are they saying that break out might come with 10 forge maps and the REAL map count might go from 20 to 30 maps on day one?

How many break out maps are there going to be since they don’t count towards the 20launch maps?

You can’t just assume there is only 2 maps (Crossfire & Trench)
No one would be stupid enough to release such a hyped up game type that has commercials dedicated to it and all this eSports hype surrounding it with only two maps!

So how many break out maps are there going to be on day one 343?

How many forge maps on day one 343?
We already know there will be 20 launch maps.

And on top of that 20 there’s an extra 4 maps that don’t count becUse they’re forged. (Pegasus Orion trench and crossfire) meaning there’s more than 20maps at launch.

But does it stop at Pegasus Orion crossfire & trench? Or are there MORE forge maps that will be released on day 1.
I find it hard to believe that your main eSports game mode (BreakOut) is only going to have 2 maps at launch.

you seem pretty worked up. I’m not sure I see why. more forge maps is a good thing. also while there are no dedicated BTB maps at launch there could be several Forged BTB maps. think Forge world style.
