Why did 343i change the order of recency in the kill feed?
In every Halo, the more recent events, kills, etc. were placed at the top of the feed, and others were cycled downwards. Now, it’s the exact opposite.
It’s just another pointless addition.

Unlike the other things that have been discussed recently like kill cams or ranking systems…
How does this change affect the game negatively? Or is it just a minor little change that irritates you?
If it doesn’t matter, why does it matter to you that they changed it? Ignore it, like you said, it doesn’t matter.

I fail to see why the order of the kill feed is a big deal…
It’s not like my preorder is cancelled over it, but it is just such a trivial thing to change for the sake of change. Not like that is an alien concept to 343.

The manager of one of the teams at 343 sat down with his members and said. “We are going to use our valuable time to change the kill feed for absolutely no reason at all.”

Obviously they had a reason dim wit, maybe it’s psychological and easier to notice that way. Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a reason. There is a lot of brilliance in making games that goes unrecognised/appreciated by the consumers. Just trust.
I’m not bugged at all by this but i do feel like sometimes there are changes being made solely for the sake of change.
To give people something to talk about besides ranking systems and Competitives Vs Casuals.

Um, I haven’t been paying much attencion on which way the kill feed goes… so please explain to me which way it’s set up.
And maybe by explaining this to me, you may figure out a reason.
might actually be an ergonomics thing, as this might facilitate ease of reading. or it might not be. either way i dont see the direction of the kill feed impacting my gameplay in any significant way. not to be rude but did this issue really deserve its own thread?
I think it’ll just be a matter of getting used to the new way it operates (The opposite way around.).
I don’t see why they changed it but they just did, and we’re going to have to get used to it.
