Another one about the aiming

I feel like I’ve played enough to make a statement about it. Its terrible. Its awful. Why is it a thing?

And dont give me your “get better at the game filthy casual”. I play on a 2 sensitivity just to keep my aim on target. Anything higher sees my reticle jumping all around the place. I usually play in the 7-10 range. I now bounce between 1 and 2 in Halo 5.

No matter what you say. No matter what type of tryhard mlg excuse you give me. This is not ok. This has to be changed. The beta worked amazing. Aiming was great. Now its like im half a bottle of vodka in trying to pee straight.

Raw input and small deadzones. If it isnt broke dont fix it. This game will not survive as a competitive only game. This game will not be successful if your answer is “oh just get used to it. Just try it for a while” if you’re not used it within an hour its -Yoinking!- wrong. Nobody with a job has this type of patience. Counter strike has a steep learning curve but all you have to do in that game is spend a few minutes shooting at a wall before you’re like “oh i get it”.

Minutes. Is how long it should take to get used to a games aiming mechanics. Not hours. Not days. Certainly not a week or two. It doesn’t work. For saying you want to appeal to everyone 343, you sure do appeal to the competitive side more than the other (exaggeration) 99% of people who play halo.

Agree with you fully op. Aiming was so much better in the beta but is now crap in the beta I went positive all the the time now my kda is garbage when I watch clips half the time my reticle is slightly. To the right of the target the aiming needs to be switched back to how it was in the beta like asap

I’ve wanted to stay away from these kind of topics, but I have to agree. I used to play Halo with a 5-7 sensitivity, and now I can’t go any higher than 4 or else I can’t aim worth a damn.

I would always play on high sensitivity (8-9) in the past Halo games but now I’m playing at 4 because I feel like the reticle moves too damn fast and I can’t aim for crap on high.

Yes. whose idea was that going from snail speed to turbo super fast light speed mode is allright has something wrong in the head.

The beta aiming was perfect I agree.

Although I feel the opposite effect, I played on 5, now I’m on 7. I feel like I can’t make small twitch movements on 5. 7 still feels sluggish, but any higher I just become inaccurate. Also when my crosshair gets close to someone it feels like it just barely even moves, and I can’t keep up and keep my aim on my opponent.

Please 343… Give us an option for beta aim settings.
