From John junyszek Twitter another xp reward change is coming here’s the list of how the first 6 matches you play will reward with xp
1st Game = 300XP
2nd Game = 200XP
3rd Game = 200XP
4th Game = 100XP
5th Game = 100XP
6th Game = 100XP
7th+ Game = 50XP
So it’s only part game 7 that it dips back to current xp but for now this is very good and add on the cp boost and double what is here and you rake in the xp
Is this fox perfect? No but it’s better then 50 per match and the feedback from this is also welcomed so let’s show them some feedback (hopefully the positive kind)
What a joke. Another half -Yoink!- solution instead of making your actual game play matter. I get as much xp for capping the flag as the guy who put a rubber band on their controller and left the house for work.
This still isnt good enough, why should it matter how fast players are going through the BP? If you paid for it you shouldnt be time gated on what you can earn
It’s a start. But people won’t be satisfied unfortunately unless you just allow them to unlock everything without investing a dime into any of it. Instant access in other words.
It isn’t that easy to just make a system that rewards you on how you play you think it’s like flipping a light switch it ducking isn’t it takes time to make time to find isduess time to take in feedback if you think you can make in a short time before launch go get a job there abd prove me wrong I dare you
You’re being silly, but you do make a good point, I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect 343 to implement performance-based XP rewards within a single day after their holiday break. I appreciate some boosted XP that is essentially a daily login bonus, while they work on more complicated stuff.
yeh, wth is xp you dont get for anything that you did in game. it was from a scoreboard GAME to like an mmorpg where you can literally walk around and check the scenery for the same exact xp. lol.
I’d rather have performance based XP but honestly this is WAY more of an improvement. 6 games a day to level up vs 20, a step in the right direction for sure
So if you just complete the daily 6 every day and do your weeklies you progress about 10 levels per week. Seems very reasonable to be able to complete a 6 month battle pass within 10 weeks with minimal play.
As a casual that doesn’t play daily this also quite helps to keep up with the season so fine adjustment to me.
I think I need to give up in hoping for a better system because they really, really want to maintain the unnecessary grind to push XP boosts, challenge swaps & tier skips
We lost so much with Halo’s transition to free-to-play, was it really worth it
You’re probably going to make up the $60 with your in-game purchases anyway, never forget what you were offered for free with a one-time fee in the MCC. (wasn’t my intention for the last part to rhyme but I dig it.)
For new players, no barrier to entry is great, for older Halo fans we’ve lost so much convenience.

I appreciate that you’re looking at this positively because there are those such as myself filled with pessimism but you can’t say freely choosing your colours is a junk option, you can’t say more armor to choose is a junk option.
