For starters… I’ve connected my controller. I’ve used ethernet instead of wireless. My XBOX network detailed stats are fine…little to no latency. My net stats are fine when checked from any machine on my network…AND… i have two connections to choose from and the luxury of ruling out one connection.
I’ve had this problem since some time in December. I used to finish off kills with melee and get away. We’re both damaged but I knew I had surplus damage on opp and a melee would finish it. Worked like a charm. However, now most times that is certain death and an 0-1 my way.
It’s like the button doesn’t respond bc the game believes (or knows) that I’m already dead. So, the movie i’m seeing isn’t the one my opp is seeing. He sees he killed me while I see him primed for that love tap that gets me the deserved kill.
Theory: lag compensation. The game cuts within limits any slice of time it cannot account for and you see the movie you’re given…not what actually happens. In the example above I don’t see the other bullets/damage that were done to me and I’m thinking I’m rocking as usual in this all-too-familiar exchange. Nope. Go to melee and no response from the button.
This is not always as simple as my connection sucks and neither of mine give me any indication that the problem lies there.
I also have on rare occasions sticky nades that don’t throw or that throw about a full second after… or that get thrown but you don’t see it thrown: you have one less nade and there is an empty animation (the arm moves but you don’t see the nade go out…kinda like a pump fake if the ball were actually thrown but you could not see it)
Anyway, I’m not looking for answers from people that have not experienced such issues. By definition you don’t have an answer so get a life and don’t post that i need a connection or to play wired or whatever you’re thinking that is based on no common experience of your own. This is going up bc it’s frustrating and perhaps others that have had similar issues can chime in.
