Given that there is another year between Anniversary and Halo 4, who else would be interested in another map pack or two that would work with CEA and Reach? Personally I’d be happy to see another one or two using some of the other Halo:CE maps.
I think it would be cool if there was one with original Xbox maps that included:
Rat Race
Boarding Action
Derelict
Chiron TL-34
Wizard
And one with the remaining PC maps:
Death Island
Danger Canyon
Infinity
Ice Fields
Gephyrophobia
That said it might work better if the packs were a mix of the two groups. They could also throw in a Firefight map. They could even get Sabre or Certain Affinity to work on them. Thoughts?
EDIT: Just to clarify, I don’t mean for them to release more maps straight away. Maybe in say six months or so. I also don’t mean to take 343 away from Halo 4, rather let someone like Sabre Interactive or Certain Affinity make the maps.
Whoa whoa whoa, slow down, let’s just take it one thing at a time. Once we have Halo Anniversary in our homes either in it’s case or in our console’s, then we can talk about new map packs.
I think 343 and certain affinity already has their hands full right now.
I agree with Everyday Math (what’s up man?), let them take a breather. The current maps haven’t been released yet.

Yeah, besides, 343 might be too busy with Halo 4 for another map pack. (still a good idea though).
I think another map pack would be rather overwhelming. Not just for 343i, but for players too. Too much change is never good. I personally would hate to see most of those maps listed in the OP in Reach. I think if they were to consider another map pack, they should wait 4-6 months before releasing it. That way they can get more hype up for the 6 or so months before Halo 4’s release.

Unfortunately, I think 343i and Certain Affinity have they’re hands wrapped up with Halo 4 and it’s highly unlikely that another map pack will be released for Reach and CEA. However, if 343i wants to keep people playing Halo and keep the interest of the community, it would probably be a good idea to release a map pack or two in between the release of CEA and Halo 4.
I mean there’s a whole year between the release of CEA and Halo 4, the more I think about the more it does seem likely.
Another thing to add. Money wise it maybe over welming. People who are not getting CEA have to pay then for the new maps. Then all of a sudden more maps are added it adds up fast.

Certain Affinity handles the maps so far. Not Sab3r Entertainment, they helped bring us CE:A.
