Another idea to motivate users to play more

Hello everyone, I would like to respectfully make a suggestion, just an idea in case you haven’t considered it.

After completing the weekly challenges, one could get a small amount of in-game currency, besides the item that one already gets as the rewards.

This would further motivate all players to complete the challenges, especially the ones that do not spend a lot of money in buying credits.
The amount granted would be little, to not make the actual purchase of credits pointless, but enough to be more tangible and influential than a random item (since if the user plays and saves up enough, they could actually get a cool item from the shop).
It could be between 25-75 credits or around that amount.

An implementation like this would benefit both the players and the game because it would:

  • Allow ALL players to have a little more influence in the items that they get.
  • Keep more people playing.
  • Reward in more ways, the players that keep the game alive.

Well that is my suggestion, thank you for your attention, if you read this far.

I like the idea, but if it’s going to be tied to the final weekly challenge it would need to be worth alot more since even 100 points would take 7 weeks to be able to afford one if the daily packages.

I just don’t see why enjoying the free game for the sake of the gameplay isn’t motivation enough?

Why do you need a carrot dangled in front of your face to enjoy an entirely free halo gameplay experience?

Maybe I’m old school, but I would’ve killed for an opportunity like this when I was a teenager who could barely afford 1 game a year.
