Will Halo Fest become a yearly event or is this a one time thing? So far Halo Fest has been great and I’d love to see something like this happening again.

Look at the logo. It says Celebrating 10 Years. It’s for special occasions, such as a decade of an amazing franchise. Come back in 10 years.

I really hope there will be more. There are a lot of us, myself included, you could not attend.

The knowladge that there will be another one is far more important then how far away it may be.
It should be in a different loacation in the US each time. I couldnt make it to Halo Fest seeing how I live across the country.
Well maybe next year the logo will be “Celebrating 11 years”, then 12, then 13, etc.
I think this is not the last of Halofest we’ll be seeing. Yes Halofest was marketed as the 10yr celebration but in all regards Halofest could become a more frequent event than every 10 years. If you had attended halofest you would have seen that 343i was very interested in the feedback about the event. This lends to the thought that they were collecting info to make the next one even better. 343i has also been scouting other publishers annual gaming events like blizzcon and such, even going as far as COD XP event that was after Halofest. I really believe that this first Halofest was a test for an annual event. Even if there wasn’t a new game every year to promote at a event, Halofest could easily exist on tournaments alone, not to mention other halo media like Halo Legends.
Well for anyone who went to HaloFest if you filled out the survey at the end some of the questions were “Would you like Halo Fest to be held again, where, how often etc” So I could see another one down the road
There was a questionnaire at the end of HaloFest that you could take that asked some questions about another HaloFest. That’s not to say there WILL be another one, but if there’s enough interest, I don’t see why 343 wouldn’t want to!
Yes please, I plan on attending PAX Prime next year, and would very much like to be at Halofest again. I went over to the PAX side and it just didn’t feel as good as Halofest.
There isn’t a reason to not have another Halo Fest. Well, unless it wasn’t profitable (doubtful). But other than that, I do expect at least another one to happen. Next time bigger and better… or something.

‘Halo Fest 2011’ was the events name, hints hugely that it wouldn’t be a one time only, maybe not in 2012 but possibly later on in life.

H4 is next year and it will probably have the largest marketing push a halo game has ever seen. I’m sure MS will spare no expense to make sure their first in house halo game will have the largest saturation. That being said I see Halofest 2012 being a great marketing vehicle to help advertise H4. I put it this way, start saving your $$ now because it’s coming and tickets and hotels will sell out even faster if it’s at pax again. If it doesn’t happen then no harm will had come and you’ll have a nice wad of cash to spend on something else next summer.
I’m already saving for PAX next year and can’t wait to hang out with all of you wonderful folks again.
