The last 3 seasons have been based on H3 and now another. It would be nice to have the season pass consist of variety instead of having to waste 70+ season points on a game that I don’t even touch to unlock a nameplate at the end of the pass. H3 has a big player base, I understand but this isn’t called the Halo 3 collection. They seriously need to focus on the other games now. As someone that doesn’t play that game, the now 4 most recent seasons have consisted of nothing to look forward to.
I’ve seen a lot of requests for customisation regarding elites, requests for the legacy maps on Reach that date back to the first month of Reach being released. Requests for maps for H2A. Requests for skins on all the other games and much more. They preach about listening to feed back on here, you’ve had feedback for these games, where are the changes? Why for 4 months in a row you’ve near enough only carried out H3 requests?
I do not like making topics like this but I feel it needs to be addressed because once again I’m opening up the season pass next season to see a whole load of nothing. Nameplates are ok but the pass should be offering more.
Why do you use season points on content you don’t want. Why not save them for content you do want?
Wasn’t season 5 the first Halo 3 focused season? Season 1 was all Reach, season 2 was CE, season 3 was ODST with some visors for Halo 3, season 4 was primarily weapon skins for 3 and 4, and now season 5 is Halo 3 focused with some Halo Reach content.
So yes, Halo 3 has been the game to most consistently receive content over the lifespan of these updates since its incorporation into the PC version, but only once has it been the primary focus. And ironically that season caused the most outrage among the Halo 3 fanbase.
It’s true that Halo 3 is the most popular entry in the series, at least if sales figures are anything to go by. But I suspect Halo 3 may have received the most recent attention simply because it was the one with the most cosmetics waiting in the wings following Halo Online’s cancellation. That does make the omission of Halo 4’s DLC all the more baffling given that it actually shipped in the past, but I am sure that will be coming in a future update. They would be foolish to waste it.

There are nameplates that require me to buy sections to get to. Also I have saved, just to see more H3 content the following seasons.
If you go look at the season pass, from season 3 onwards it’s heavily H3 based on every single one. Where are the skins for the other Halo’s?
The Halo online content, I’m not saying let that content go to waste but that could be spread out instead of it dominating the last season and the next. What about people that don’t touch H3?
I agree, I honestly thought Halo reach would’ve gotten a little more live such as weapon skins or new armor but no it’s just more H3 content and you can’t really use the skins unless you want the chance of your xbox hard shutting down or MCC crashing not to mention the H3 scorpion projectile bug. I wish they would give more love to other titles in MCC than just H3 which is in a buggier state because of it

I know and I mentioned that but 2 helmets one with three variants, one with 4 and one of it’s variants being a bugged challenge isn’t really much compared to what H3 got and is still getting

Well you do know why Halo 3 is getting that armor do you? It’s because it’s like already existing in the code Halo 3 uses. They would have to go back to the drawing board to make new armor for reach.
Just be glad we got reach at all in the master Chief collection. As this is not The master halo collection.
4 dlc armours and mark 6 gen 2 for 4 and h2 needs the skin update and elete armour for 2 3 and Annerverry yet they just keep making skins for guns that already have them
I would really like to see new Remastered Maps for Halo 2 Anniversary and new content for Halo 2 Classic and Halo 2 Anniversary and customizations for Spartan/Elites for those 2 games. Halo CE and Halo 4 could use new content as well as I feel Halo 3/Reach have already gotten enough content for now.
You do realize they aren’t developing actual new content for these games right? They are just porting existing content into the game and halo 3 likely has the most cut/complete but not implemented content available.
Waterfall for example was cut content from halo online. So it’s new in the sense no one has played it before but it was made a long time ago and is just being implemented.
Only the weapon and vehicle skins may be actually new Content. And maybe they should add those to reach and halo 2.
I don’t think anyone should expect actually new developed content beyond skins for any game. The only truly new content the game has gotten was the relic H2A map in 2015
The three reasons below summarize why H3’s getting the most love pretty well.
HO content is plentiful and “easy” to bring into H3. - CE and H2 got anniversary editions for their 10th birthdays. The MCC team is compensating for the lack of H3A by delivering previously cut content. A H3 “Extended edition”. - H3 is the most popular if not second most popular behind Reach.

Thing is chief is in reach if you want to get technical with it and Reach was a saving grace for MCC otherwise MCC would’ve probably declined in population, and yes I know that the armor added is from Halo online which uses H3’s engine and I wasn’t directly mentioning armor for reach, something as small as skins would most likely suffice, that or show a little love to H2 and H2A not to mention that Halo 4 still hasn’t gotten it’s DLC armor. I also wouldn’t care much about the seasons being geared to H3 if Halo 3 didn’t crash most of the time because of the stuff they’ve added

Halo CE and Halo 2 Classic also have content in the forms of maps that can be brought over just like Halo 3.
Halo CE has Custom Edition Maps and Halo 2 has Project Cartographer Maps.
