You can use the arm for infection but not just for infection but for MM just as long as they play like Spartans only diff is there arm.
Why limit them to just infection ?
The elites were not limited to invasion
And it’s like the robot arm from halo R with the armor effect green cloud just without the cloud but dame blood and make melée with same arm as flood arm.
So then I ask how long did it take them to make that armor effect minus cloud and robot arm ?
That would be ABOUT the same time it would take to add the flood arm. It would work for infection but also work out side of infection prob not classic playlist but I’m okay with that.

Yes depending on how you set up the game but also you can use the arm in other game types other than infection.
Here is an example of what I mean

I find myself agreeing with this. It would seem rather redundant in other gametypes and wouldn’t really fit in well with the backstory.

I think it’d be cool if in VIP you could have the VIP be in Mark III armor or something huge like that. Like in that one Halo Legends video where the guy had to say something like 'be normal," or something like that then blew up.

Which is one of the possible reasons why Elites aren’t playable in Halo 4 multiplayer.

Yeah it would actually put a meaning to the word “Infected”. not just different colored armor.
Useless ? No they can usevit for infection but still have it for other game types so picture it’s for infection but then also let us use them for other game type plus it’s a new species we can play as not cuz we know it but know cuz we never played as them.
It would not harm any thing adding them to halo 4.

Actually, I’d wrather play as a fully infected marine in Infection.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants tobplay as the flood so it would not be a useless gimmick and there are polls for this that can prove it.

That would just look silly, and since the flood is probably not in Halo 4 it would not make sense… And for infection. Take infection out of the game, problem solved! No flood arm for you

But even then it doesn’t serve a unique purpose and is pretty redundant, as others have said.
