Another E419 Pelican...

Anyone miss in the old days having that ‘personal’ like pelican drop ship saving us or getting us to that next drop zone?

Back in Halo CE E419/Foehammer always flew Chief to his destination or had conversations with Cortana. And I am sure people began to get attached to the character, or in that case, the ‘pelican’ (I say pelican as we never actually got to physically see the pilot) and were also saddened by her sudden death right at the end of the game.

Will we have special pelican pilots again in Halo 5 to make things more interesting? Should chief and his squad have their own personal pilot? What do you think?

I thought it was a neat little character dynamic back then and I would love the return of a dynamic as such so…I am all for this.

I’d rather have them do something new like they did with Halo 4.

I wouldn’t mind a Pelican buddy. Loved Foehammer in Halo 1, and Hocus in Halo 3.

Maybe have Hocus come back? Or, even better, make Foehammer have a sister or something voiced by the same person. That’s what I want. :stuck_out_tongue:

This was in spartan ops. Remember Spartan Robert Dalton? And merphy?

TJ Murphy from Spartan Ops or Lian Devereaux from Kilo-5 and her ludicrious slipspace-capable stealth Pelican would be neat.

TJ MURPHY! He was AWESOME. And a bit of a B.A. barrel rolling a Phantom into friendly fire to land Crimson into Infinity.

I vote him. We need more Teej in our lives.

Also I was thinking in a sense that we would have more ‘core characters’ we could actually develop an attachment too, not just your average generic ai who walks around.

Some good supporting characters would be nice.

Ka-Five wants the Teej.
