Another Cortana theory that kind makes sense.

Firstly we all know Cortana was lost but her data was transferred into into multiply parts into the ‘Composer’ and that in Spartan Ops the data from the memory’s of the people lost from the attack on Earth was found in Requiem that came from the Composer. (Set before Requeim’s destruction)

It was found months later so my theory is Cortana copied herself to Requiem in parts, think of it like a torrent that slowly downloading and the thing is because it’s in parts and without a proper compiler then the AI fragments may exist.

I suspect the Librarian may have found the data fragment but anyway I kind of doubt any of this, just felt like had to say something because certainly got me thinking.

EDIT: Actually, Cobra’s right. Cortana wasn’t even transferred into the Composer, she transferred herself into the Hardlight bridge. Sorry to say, but this theory really has nothing to offer.

No, it wasn’t.

dont ever be afraid to throw out your own opinion…
But its true, requim has ultimately been destroyed…but wait, if this next halo runs somewhere between halo 4 and spartan ops, very good possibility. Cortona probably some how transferred herself…but wait, that would destroy the purpose for cortona to finally be able to touch the cheif.

Why would they set the next Halo between Halo 4 and Spartan Ops when we are already getting story content AFTER Spartan Ops? Halo: Escalation picks up a month later.

Cortana was transferred to the did acts ship. She just hung around on the hard light bridge. Also, didn’t parts of her go into the didacts head? That could lead to something.

Nothing says as much.

Who’s to say it wasn’t?, the hard-light bridge was most likely connected to the main hub system, the main system would have been connected to multiply systems like the Composer’s main firing weapon.

It’s was just an idea but an unclear one also I already know Requiem was destroyed but the data originally got there somehow, it was never proper explained how since the Composer was destroyed.

Also my main theory is she copied herself at some point because she know something like this may happen.

> Who’s to say it wasn’t?, the hard-light bridge was most likely connected to the main hub system, the main system would have been connected to multiply systems like the Composer’s main firing weapon.

Cortana says it at the end of Halo 4.

“Most of me is down there [Mantle’s Approach]. I only held enough back to get you off the ship.”

Wait, hold on what is “Mantle’s Approach”?

Edit: Never mind, binged it. I don’t see though how that implies cortana couldn’t have been connected to the composer. Wasn’t that integrated into the Didact’s ship?

That’s kind of my point, all the information is down there, including the data from the Composer, yet somehow it gets all the way to Reqeuim.

> That’s kind of my point, all the information is down there, including the data from the Composer, yet somehow it gets all the way to Reqeuim.

Answer: plot hole in slip space right below the composer, but that doesn’t necessarily lead directly to requiem.

That’s a good point it could lead to anywhere but the question is if not requiem then where?

> That’s a good point it could lead to anywhere but the question is if not requiem then where?

I think a clue may be in the Didact’s voice-over for the last cinematic. Assuming its present time, where would he be addressing other forerunner?

I’m not sure, it’s hard to tell since it’s not the first time that he as been annoyed at the humans, well there was little much seen of the Didact or the Librarian in the game but it does seem like they were both distracted and the Librarian did seem to care but always busy with something else.

If she was connected to the Composer…why didn’t she just turn it off?

> If she was connected to the Composer…why didn’t she just turn it off?

Ahahahaha!!! Thats way too easy :stuck_out_tongue:
