I just can’t take all the stupid little kids who play on Reach and think that every -Yoink!- gametype is team slayer. Capture the Flag, Assault, it doesn’t matter. I am always the only one trying to either:
A) Defend our base
B) Bring a bomb to the enemy
C) Capture a flag from the enemy
D) Stop the enemy who has our flag (see A)
I have been playing Halo since the first game, all the way back when, but I am finished with Reach. I can’t afford to break another controller over these frustrating games I am forced to play with little pieces of -Yoink- who don’t know the point of objective based gametypes. Jesus christ CoD -Yoinked!- up the fps scene on xbox.
That said, I will buy anniversary, and I will enjoy it. I will not be supporting Reach multiplayer in any way shape or form. It is an abomination and a disgrace to Halo fans everywhere.
I will now go back to my PC gaming, where I can play bot Halo 1 and Halo 2 online all I damn well please, complete with mods, unpunished quits, and OH MY GOD my choice of what server I would like to play on.
I honestly can’t put my finger on why Halo: Reach is so damn bad. But I will list all the reasons on a very scroll-like list:

Armor Lock
Banshee
Utopie
Spire
Quit Ban
inconsistent betrayal ban
nerfed needler, plasma rifle, splaser, and pistol
sorry as -Yoink- campaign
terrible matchmaking
lag issues
bloom

The best online map (mt Lam Lam) wasn’t even made in-house
Really, the only one of my friends who didn’t swear off of Reach…is me. I have had it for I think a month and I see why they’re all playing battlefield now.

And I’m only getting the anniversary edition so my friend and I can play through it legendary with a giant bag of doritos and a twelver of mountain dew, just like when we were ten. It will be a cold day in hell before I touch Reach’s multiplayer again. Skyrim and battlefield are going to be my winter vices this year.

The ONLY reason is because I love Halo, Reach is horrible. But I refuse to give on Halo because of Reach. I refuse to become a COD fanboy, but if 4 isn’t any better I think I’l just play battlefield only.
I too, find it sad that a video game enrages you to the point of breaking things.
But it’s your opinion on what you think of Reach, and if you don’t like it, it’s perfectly fine for you to quit playing it! I personally enjoy it, so that’s why I keep playing. And that’s what video games should be played for: the enjoyment factor.

I actually really enjoyed black ops when I played it on the PC, but I’m with you on the fanboy bit. If MW3 was any different from the last installment, I would get it, but it pretty much looks exactly like MW2.
Maybe I should just come out of the casual closet and get a Wii

That brawl comment gave me a chuckle. I sometimes go to my friend’s apartment just to play mario kart and play with his kitten >.> I am going to be very shrewd when I decide whether or not to get Halo 4 (as should any self respecting human being).

I’v played a year and broke, well, if i include the one i fixed myself, then , none.
I do rage a lot though so I am with you on that.
As for assualt etc. I personally go on there for easy kills/multikills etc.
So, to be honest, I couldn’t give a monkey’s who has the bomb, as long as im plussing and not minusing.

I think you could benifit from a good clan/friends to play Halo with, i know exactly what your sayin as theres nothin worse than idiots tooling around in the game when you tryna play all serious, i get this all the time, And often revert back to Score attack or firefight because of this,

thats the thing tho most of peoples friends even my friends hardly play reach anymore and whos left in the reach playlists noobs, kids that joke around and betray you and quit leaving you outnumbered by the opposite team who are ridiculosly high rank and thrash you.

If any video game brings you to the point of rage and breaking things, I suggest you take a deep breath and look in the mirror. Reflect on your life. Being angry at such things is unhealthy.
