Here I was hoping that season 2 might do at least enough to get me to reinstall… Well, guess thats my fault for expecting 343 to do something at least half right.

Cold, barren emptiness, silence, extended seasons, sounds like 343. Next thing they will be Santa Claus himself. Only delivering content once a year. Season 3 will be 12 months long, with all new maps being made in Forge by the players

343 is 3-for-3. All 3 of their games, strikes. All 3 of their seasons, strikes. Campaign, Multiplayer, Customization, all 3 strikes. How are they so good at missing the ball? They’re not even dropping the ball at this point, they just are completely missing it

Alright, some people like Halo 4, some people like Halo 5 especially Warzone, MCC is pretty damn decent. I’ll give them those three balls. They still have three strikes though, because the majority of decisions they make are completely awful that nobody in any direction of broad audience enjoys. MCC is like the only thing that they did right. It’s not perfect, it’s not awful either. It’s still kind of getting there, and it took a very long time to get where it is

“Acceptable” is a personal call. I agree that another six month season is far from awesome, but the majority of the people passionate enough about Halo to be discussing these things here on the forums, myself included, will “accept” or at least tolerate, another six month season.
There are a lot of people for whom these sorts of annoyances are actual deal breakers. Most of those people stopped playing Infinite within the first few months of release, though. The rest of us are in for at least a few years of waiting for this game to catch up with what we’d like it to be.

They really put a TBA on Co-Op Campaign splitscreen in Season 3, they can’t even guarantee it’s coming season 3. That’s a day-one Halo feature delayed over a year after release. Hall of Infamy for sure. Halo Infamous.

Yeah the lack of commitment is what bugs me. Stop beating around the bush and just say when stuff’s gonna be done, how much is done, and make sure it’s ready when it comes out.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. I remember a time during the glory days of Halo 5 when we actually had a roadmap that accounted for content released on a monthly basis for the entire year of 2016. 343, do you have any idea just how screwed up you are making gamers nostalgic, for Halo 5 of all games. There can be no more excuses. No more complaints about burnout or exhaustions, every manager at 343 has only themselves to blame for this ridiculous poor planning and execution.
Only three game modes at the launch of Season 2? Only two maps? And not even a statement on the release of a COMPLETE version of Forge. But rather, a BETA. It’s just inexcusable.
