Right in the middle of a game of BTIS on Complex a message pops up on my screen to tell me I’m banned for quitting too many games. I really don’t a big problem with the ban per se as a I’ve had a lot of DNF games today.
My Xbox overheated and shut off during one game.
Another went to black screen less than 15 seconds after I joined it and never returned.
I left a game on Longbow because the lag was so bad I’d teleported three times in the first 10 seconds of the game.
I left another because that’s what I do when teammates deliberately betray me to take my weapons. A teammate killed me to take the rocket launcher I’d just picked up and I refuse to play with people like that. And I didn’t get an option to boot him. (As an aside I think Longbow is a real mess since the update.)
I left a game on Vortex because my team sucked. The other team was dominating us with vehicles so much the score was something like 240-70. At one point I was the only person my team with a kill and five people on the other team had kills. I think three of my teammates weren’t playing and eventually left the game.
So fine, I got a quit ban. That’s not the problem. The problem is that right in the middle of a game I wasn’t quitting I’m stopped from playing with a message telling me I’m banned. Really? How stupid is that? It can’t wait until the game is over? It has to stop me from playing and leave me vulnerable to attack to tell me that? Sorry, but that’s just stupid.
I don’t like quitting games, but I’m not going to make myself crazy dealing with problems not of my doing, such as severe lag, betrayers, and teammates who aren’t playing on a map loaded with vehicles. If that means I have to take a break for a quit ban, so be it.

yes but the thing is reach didnt have join in progress while h4 does.
To implement a quit ban in a game with JiP is absolutely idiotic.
Also the most annoying thing about reach was the quit ban MESSAGE(not the quit ban itself to those people that cant read) that would pop up randomly DURING every game.
Even though multiple people complained about this little in game annoyance in reach nothing was done about it in h4 as seen by the OP’s thread(i wouldnt know since i sold h4 a few months ago)

The Xbox 360 Slim is known to have fan problems in the power supply. Some overheat and some make a lot of noise. Mine does the latter, so I’m trying to find a way to deal with that. What I tried today didn’t provide enough cooling, so after two or three games or so it overheated and shut off.

I don’t boot people for accidentally betraying me unless it’s the result of obvious stupidity like splattering me because they aren’t paying attention.
But there are people who betray teammates specifically to get themselves booted so they don’t have to quit, and those who will betray you for weapons and such. I don’t boot people who obviously want to get booted, as I refuse to reward them for bad behavior. If they want to leave the game they should leave the game. That’s what I do.
I’d boot someone who betrays me for a weapon in a heartbeat, but the game didn’t give me that option in this case.
