The anomalies are massive waves of Mtn dew flooding entire nations as earthquakes overturn the tectonic plates to sides of Doritos.
Nah, but they have me really intrigued. Whatever is happening has got my mind racing.
I’m sure it will be the threat in Halo 5, Forerunners returning?, Flood from Path Kethona or SoF?, Mdama and the Absolute Record?

Could just be a gigantic Forerunner ship slipping in and out of space.

I’m not sure, but it has to know that it’s making itself known, if it’s anything to worry about, it must know.

I have a feeling it may be Guardian Sentinels, moving through space. Maybe they were awoken via the Absolute Record. And maybe they are responsible for the destruction we see in the trailer.
Once Halo escalation is finished and Hunt the truth is finished and E3 rolls around
all our questions will be answered and all that will be left is HYPE!

And that waiting period will be terribly boring. Sigh.
I personally believe that the ancient Flood is coming back. And I’d also put my money on the giant bird robot we saw in the original Master Chief “Halo Xbox One” commercial is a Guardian being awakened (by possibly Chief) to respond to the oncoming threat.
