Annoying LAG!

So the lag problems in Halo 4 are so irritating…
In other videogames like Battlefield 3… 32 player in the game… And i never NEVER experience any lag problems with that game.
In Halo 4, 8 players on the map, and the Lag is terrible, at least 1 of 4 games that i play are unplayable because of lag.

Why? Someone can tell me the reason?
