Really enjoying the beta so far, aside from one small thing.
The fade in, fade out killcam thing while waiting to spawn is extremely annoying and seems to be completely random in what it will actually show you. Sometimes it shows you how they killed you, sometimes it shows them just running around shooting at other players. Either way, it only shows 1 or 2 seconds of nothing actually useful.
What’s worse is the fade to black part of all this. Waiting to respawn is a good time to check the score, change controller sensitivity, mute other players etc, but this is practically impossible to the black screen.
Every person I’ve talked to also says that they hate this, so at least I’m not alone.
As this is a beta, I’m willing to give this a pass for now. Hopefully it won’t be in the final game and, with any luck, it won’t even be in the larger beta that comes at the end of the month.
Otherwise, the game is great.
