Annoyances in Halo 4

Okay, so I’m in a game of regicide with 5 other friends of mine, who all agree to let each other get kills off of one another. I’m sure one of my other friends got banned as well as I did, but the thing I don’t understand is, 343, why don’t you focus on the actualy cheaters, lag switchers, power modders, ect., and ban them before you ban boosters, because if you’re doing it with friends, it’s not boosting as much as working together to meet a common goal. There is also the topic of forge, I only have 3 small things to whine about as well as a custom game option that suddenly went missing, first, The maps are okay, but I hope that 343 will take into consideration to adding a large map with at least 20,000 budget and lots of new pieces, as well as being able to go underwater without dying, as I’m sure much of you think “Master Chief can handle a fall from space, but can’t deal with some water? WTF?” And yes that’s what my friends as well as myself are saying. Then there’s the monitor, in forge you can’t zoom in, or speed up very fast, which kinda kills my love for forging. Then the custom option, and no I don’t like ordinance in customs unless it’s power weapons only. No “Weapons on Map” option? Really 343? C’mon at least add that in the next update. The point I’m trying to make here, is that as an avid forger and a fan of online multiplayer here’s my ranking system for this game.

CampaignL 8/10
Matchmaking: 7/10
custom, forge: 4/10
spartan ops: 10/10
Armory: 10/10
loadouts: 3/10 (not enough decent weaponry)

The main point of this topic was to alert 343 to be banning actual modders instead of boosters, because let’s face it, people boost because they don’t have enough time in the day to rank up legitly, and honestly it’s kind of unfair in my perspective, because the matchmaking is okay but too many betrayers and modders, and Spartan ops takes waaaaayyyy too long.

No hate comments please, this is just my opinion and personal experiences, if you have a question, just ask me and I’ll answer as best I can.

You still took part in activities that are not only look down upon but is also against the rules. You sound like a guy who gets a speeding ticket but complains the police are not catching all the murders instead. Sure it might not be as bad as the hackers but it is still wrong so don’t cry when you are caught.

Boosting is lame. I do agree with you OP, though, that they should first focus on the people using exploits to gain an advantage, like the cheaters who hop outside the map.

Technichally, boosting isn’t illegal at all, because when doing it with 5 other friends, technically it is playing the game but helping each other to rank up instead of dealing with little kids who spam BR’s and AR’s constantly. I much prefer working with friends than random players.

And besides we weren’t trying to boost for XP, we were trying to get our commendations up, so that we could unlock armor easily, and don’t forget about the target locator glitch in Reach, didn’t get banned for spamming that s***.

Well getting outside of a map isn’t the players fault if they get caught, it’s the programmers since they didn’t bother to fix it, and I think those outside map areas are easter eggs not glitches.

The target locator “glitch” wasn’t glitching/boosting, it was grinding. Two total different things, and the “glitch” was in campaign which didn’t affect other players.

From what I can tell you were boosting in matchmaking, which does affect other players.

It’s not 343’s job to ban the ‘Modders’ It’s their job to report them to -Yoink!-, then they have to watch them and if THEY’RE actually ‘modding’ -Yoink!- will ban them.

Also… please don’t triple post, there’s an edit button for a reason…
