So I watched a video on SHC, and the announcers language was in german.
Not to mention that Halo in german sounds terrible, but the guy who sent in the clip said that you can’t change the announcer’s language. So if you bought the game in germany, you would just set your xbox to english, but that doesn’t seem to work anymore, the announcer stays in german while the rest of the game is english. I’m not really sure if I should believe this, since the game isn’t out yet, but it’s only two more days…
Also some of the multikills just sound stupid in german, who wants to hear “Dreifacher Abschuss” if you can have a short and nice “Triple Kill”, or “Gemetzel” instead of “Killtrocity” (of course you can’t translate Killtrocity, but the announcer can say Overkill too, so why not Killtrocity?).
If that’s true there should be at least an ingame option to either turn off the announcer or change his language. I’m sure most of the people would rather play in english than in their main language, simply because everything about Halo (on Youtube etc.) is in english, and as I said, it probably sounds better to a majority of people.
I’ve been playing like this for years because of the reasons I mentioned before, and now I’m forced to play in german (or what ever language you are)?
Anyone here who has the game and can really clarify us?^^

Well, it’s an opinion of course. Another reason for me to play english is that I started uploading some videos and I want people to understand everything

Yeah im also thinking about paying another 50€ (or waiting some weeks for a price drop) to get the UK version
