I was wondering if it will be possible in future to be able to choose English speaking announcer in multiplayer?
I have polish localized version and it simply makes my ears bleed in MP :(.
As I do agree that this should be the case w/the announcer, Jeff would have to record his announcements in a lot of languages. Too many.
I dont want to hear him speaking polish haha.
I want to hear him in his original ENGLISH announces :).
Polish translation is terrible, I really mean it. As it is bearable in SinglePlayer, Multi is pure agony.
I just wish for option for MP (only) to have ability to hear english announces.
My guess is that they replaced all the english announcements with polish ones, so i dont think thats gonna be possible. it’s simply not on the disk (most likely)
I bet that’s annoying! I have never understood dubbing mature games. aren’t subtitles enough? That’s as bad as censorship. And that, you can’t change that… :I Why is it so hard to put it in the main menu to choose both language and subtitles?

Its not on disc. Thus I was hoping for a download or so :(.
The thing is… YOU INSTALL MP on your hdd, its mandatory to be able to play.
Put your xbox on english, it should change the announcer

Because discs have limits? Anyways TC if it bothers you THAT much, I would get an English version as fast as possible, before you regret waiting.

It only changes GUI/UI which I have since always. Voices are in polish.
@Scott: I want to support MS PL and all. Announcer DL wouldnt be too much of a big deal ;(.
Funny thing is that PL localization isnt even cheaper than EN (most games here are) :P.
I would change it to Japanese just for the lulz.
I actually wonder if Id borrow EN version and Install it then play with my disc… would that help!

I wanted to reply here and bump this just to say that I also got the Japanese version and while I’m ok (not really, but whatever) with the Campaign being in Japanese, all the other multiplayer Halo have had English announcers even on the Japanese copy of the game. Now for some reason Halo 4 only has Japanese, and it’s BAD. He sounds like he’s joking all the time and sometimes his pronunciation is so weird I can’t even understand him.
I guess chances are close to none, but I have seen it happening in other games… could 343i release some downloadable file to overwrite the announcer data for Multiplayer?..
