Halo 2 is getting new features for its anniversary treatment, including audio change in the transition between classic and anniversary mode. Will Halo: CE get the same treatment? I know they listed differences between the two anniversaries, but they were comparing the Halo 2: Anniversary on Xbox One with the Halo: CE Anniversary on the Xbox 360, so I was wondering if they were going to make the same changes to Halo: CE Anniversary on the Xbox One.
All we know for sure, is that CEA is getting the “Instant switch” upgrad 2A has, instead of fading in and out. I do hope they also go the route of having all the new AND legacy sounds, and music switch as well.
I’m pretty sure they saud during the panel that CEA would also switch audio.
I hope that all the games will have their original audio in full. Also, Halo 1 Anniversary wasn’t a perfect upgrade. There are some ugly parts and the geometry doesn’t match in spots. There were also some missing effects, incorrect colours, and poor cutscene framing in its original graphics mode. Now would be a good time to give it a tune-up…

Link? Source? Anything?

I think it’s possible they may have gave Halo 1 Anniversary a tuneup which would be nice. I attribute it’s issues with simply not having enough time to polish the game during development and perhaps hardware limitations with the xbox 360.
All that was said about CEA during PAX Prime 2014 was that the switch between Anniversary and Classic would be instant just like in H2A. They didn’t say anything about mixing and matching remastered and classic audio and visuals in CEA. Unless they explicitly say otherwise, likelihood is that CEA MCC will be the same as CEA X360: button switches visuals only and audio must be switched in the menu.
