5 playlists when Anniversary Launches: Anniversary Classic Playlist -
Mixture of Slayer/Objective “Strictly basic Obj. gametypes”. 4v4 Anniversary Big Team Battle - Reach TU settings DMR/Pistol start, and Anniversary Settings AR/Pistol start. Hang em high, BreakNeck, Timberland. Anniversary Free For All Playlist FireFight playlist to support Installation 04. The 5th playlist, I don’t believe was stated in the podcast…
Super excited for Big team battle BreakNeck in matchmaking!
If 343i’s goal for integrating CEA’s maps into Reach was to avoid fragmenting the Reach player base then they’re doing a poor job of it. Two BTB playlists definitely isn’t going to go well. One of those playlists is going to die and I’m hoping it’s the default one.

Not if they’re integrated with the regular/DLC maps as well. Hopefully, all maps will be in the Anniversary BTB, but heavy weighting should be on Anniversary/DLC maps.
To anyone who’s still complaining that there isn’t enough new content to warrant a purchase of this game, I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking… I can’t wait for this game to hit.
That’s some good news. I was hoping there would be more than one playlist. Does anybody know when the maps will be available for dlc if you don’t buy Halo Cea? I can’t remember if it they said the same day or shortly after.
Nothing fries me more than playing a DLC playlist and constantly getting stuck with stupid -Yoink- like 3 plots, hot potato, or any of those horrible flag variants (anything besides basic 2 flag or 1 flag).
And while off the bat it’ll probably just be the six basic anniversary maps, in their classic versions, I hope down the road forge variants of maps like Chill Out and Derelict get added too.

Shortly after. For some reason I could see Black Friday being the day.
