Unfortunately, it’s gone… I was so angry after I saw it being put off the arena list. It’s literally the only thing fun and I played in the arena. The Halo CE pistol was such a good gun for me to bring my K/D up, but now it’s gone… That was the best playlist and I wish they had kept it.
We just need to talk 343 into bringing it back!
How, exactly? It seems like they ignore us. Every time they try to talk to them, they make stuff worse? They should’ve kept it for a month at least, not 3 weeks… I was expecting it to go away on December 15th, since the playlist came out on November 15th.
All I’m playing right now in arena is Super Fiesta, and eventually gets lame with a bunch of power weapon spammers. I feel like I want the need of a playlist with only Halo CE pistols… Looks like I’m going back to Reach full-time again, since I spent half of my time playing Anniversary Throwback on Halo 5. If they made it a permanent playlist, 343 can have 75% of my time back playing Halo 5.

I know. I’m so Sad that it’s gone. I personally really hate Super Fiesta because I’m terrible at using half the power weapons and RNG weapons give me loadout weapons most the time or weapons I absolutely suck at. If I find weapons I die the second I pick them up.
I miss Anniversary where Halo actually felt fun again in my opinion. Anniversary was the closest thing to pure casual fun halo gameplay. Now its back to getting bulldozed every match in other gamemodes/playlists…

Action Sack, Super Fiesta, and Throwback have been my top three playlists in Halo 5. I wish they’d all have permanent playlists but I know that won’t happen
Agree that we need more social playlists in H5. Every game in every playlist is super sweaty and competetive with the exception (perhaps) of Infection and Action Sack. Even in playlists which rotate we get fireteams who go in with a super sweaty competetive play. 5v5 was crazy for instance with all these try hards populating the playlist. It did´nt use to be like that back in H3 for instance.

it didn’t used to be like that as early as last year up until about February Halo still had a competitive side and casual “play just for fun” side but somewhere around springtime or the summer Halo became so competitive it’s ridiculous. I can hardly ever go a game where I feel like I did well enough to have fun. I don’t care if I win or lose but when I get steamrolled every game its hard to “enjoy” the losses.
And to be honest IDk if its even fixable at this point competitive nature has been growing to be more and more dominate in pvp multiplayer games.
Maybe it will be back on November 15th of next year, you never know.

I agree with you even though I must say the steamrolling and sweaty games have gotten completely out of hand just in the past month or so. As a lonewolf, or a small fireteam, there is very little about Halo 5 to be enjoyed right now. I struggle, like tonight, just to find a single game to enjoy. Every playlist, every game is super sweaty adn full of big fireteams with the sole purpose of steamrolling the other team. And you can´t find any games in FFA if you wanna go there instead. Not that they tend to be less competetive but at lest you´re not steamrolled via a triple cap or spawnkilled by a team the whole game.
And on top of that its the fricking lost connection, retrieving data and other bollocks going on. Really sick of H5 right now. I love Halo, I want to play Halo, but right now its just so hard to find a single reason to play except for holding on to memories of good times long lost hoping for a glimpse of what once was.

I agree man its really upsetting. I love Halo. I love Halo 5 and I love this game and I enjoy playing it. Although its really hard to keep playing if they don’t fix something soon. I mean if it isn’t the connection issues like high ping to the server or disconnects or dropping the matches its being steamrolled by people or teams of people that are WAY better at the game because they play a lot more then you or me. Casual/Social players are in this perpetual crapshoot that is matchmaking in a competitive gamer world and I would prob say it’s safe to say one third to 1 half of the community is experiencing server issues.
I want to play Halo but 343 is making this really hard…
343i I’m sorry to say you really need to fix the core problems. You have all the right things in place, the game is great, gameplay is good enough (no real complaints), but your server maintenance seems to be lacking (if you do maintenance feel free to link a log) and the matchmaking is very unfriendly to casual/social players these little things are core to the enjoyment to the game If you don’t at least tell us that you know these problems exist and that you will try your best resolve said issues but I haven’t seen much besides that telemetry “update”.
I hate to be that guy but I really want to play this game in optimal condition again instead of getting hit or miss chance on getting good playing conditions.
I want to play this game and just have a good time and have something I can convince my friends to play with. I want to sing songs of praise about Halo 5 but you make it hard

CE pistol playlist as permanent yes please
If they brought back the throwback playlist I think they should add in a bunch of remakes of other old Halo maps from Halo 2&3 as well.
Halo CE maps would be the classic loadout of CE Pistol and AR (Should be extended mag since the old AR’s Held more ammo).
Halo 2 & 3 forge remakes would have a Halo 2 BR/ AR loadout. Think about it, they could have Turf, or Narrows. They could have Zanzibar or Rat’s Nest … I think that would be a good way to integrate the playlist into a permanent social playlist.

The new update has so many nice playlists they could easily add anniversary back in
