wow thanks, sounds great
Awesome! i think some of the remade songs sounds wrong and unoriginal, but this one is just right.
Cool track, but the original sounds better. In fact, I think I’ll play with the original soundtrack overall.
I think it sounds pretty neat actually
I always preferred the deep monk vocals over the higher pitched ones
-Yoink!- quick reply doesn’t work half the time.
It’s not part of “Under cover of night”, but the monk chanting at the start of that clip sounds off to me. It’s like the guys are reaching a note that’s too… flat, maybe.
I don’t like it at all.

Which ones?
The trouble is that it’s not the original and that was of course perfect. However i still like this piece as an alternative and being we get to choose, well i see no problem with having this choice. It’s lacking i would say regards to capturing the full emotional feel this track originally had but it’s not horrible and i will listen to this while also playing anniversary mode. Also worth mentioning that music differences are always horrible and may need time to grow. We shall see
I basically died when i first heard they were remastering the soundtrack but this is a nice bonus quite honestly
That sounds amazing. Under Cover of Night was one of my favourite songs in Halo CE. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to hear it in it’s updated form.
I can’t wait to get my copy of the soundtrack. 343/Skywalker Sound have done a great job.
One of my absolute favourite Halo tracks, and the re-recording sounds very good.
Thanks for this. So far they seem to have done a great job of updating all of the tracks from CE to fit perfectly in Anniversary. Well done.
I will say this however, there is a spot i noticed on the bts video where the cellos playing have more bite and as a result make for a more pronounced melody there. The original formed over time so we then knew the melody but you could argue it’s just slightly cloudy. I like that difference then
Sounds great.
Yeah, I prefer the newer version much more. It just seems like a much more refined version of the track. The beats have a much higher impact too.
Love the video comparisons but one thing blew my mind. Forge. In. High Noon.
;D ;D ;D
The remastered version is pretty good, but I still prefer the original. The new one began to sound like an Indian pop song towards the end
I like the Anniversary version better.
I love it, the wail still sounds great!
Tis a very beautiful map.
I especially like Sagittarius A as the “centre” piece. He he he.
