So i haven’t played reach in months.I just took a long break from it.I decided i wanted to play some Anniversary BTB.Looked at the new playlist and its gone wtf? We paid for this DLC and know we cant play it,I use to like 343i but know i see there just screwing up the playlist i have the most fun in.Sad we have to play crappy BTB Forge maps instead of Headlong and Timberland.They could at least made an option so we get DLC maps in Big Team just saying.Anywas enough ranting.What are your opinions?
I personally preferred those playlists to “Classic”. To see them both gone is saddening, really.
There’s still Classic, and the DLC maps come up in every playlist.
They had to take them out to help Reach for Halo 4, sorry.
I was very angry when I saw they took out Anniversary FFA and BTB, FFA was one of my favorite game types! I really would appreciate them if they gave all of the playlist back. I used to be really great at FFA, one type I won four matches in a row of it. I always had a blast playing it, but now I only play team SWAT now because there’s hardly any other playlist I enjoy. Either 343 is gonna keep screwing things up and unsatasfy people, or they’re just gonna give great stuff and make a great game.
Yea, it sucks but there’s no way they’re going to bring back any of the DLC. They simply don’t care, furthermore many of the forum suck-ups support their decision. You might as well say goodbye to the best BTB maps in the game (Highlands, Breakpoint, Breackneck and Ridgeline). They’ll all fade into fond memories followed by anger and hatred.
Why they chose to release Halo 4 so soon after Reach? who knows, but clearly that’s all they care about.
I have too much hatred and loathing for Halo 4 to ever consider purchasing.
I feel your pain bro. Anniversary BTB was my fav playlist, I came back after a month or two of not playing to find it gone. Headlong and Timberland/Ridgeline were just brilliant, miles better than the ones that shipped with Reach and miles better than the plain forged maps. Headlong being my fav for me, I just loved the way it played and I loved CTF on it 
I am trying to get back into the swing of things but I just can’t, regular BTB is just awful. Most games I join are against full teams with mics which rarely occurred in Ann BTB and those forged maps are so painful to play on. I really don’t see why they would take playlists out of matchmaking. I was under the impression more playlists equals more choice and in return more fun? I was even bummed that they removed Action Sack which was also good every now and then when I got bored, just jump in and do some random gametype.
The update sucks, and all complaints are being moved here, in a completely different forum. Apparently you aren’t allowed to discuss changes to the Reach playlists in the Reach forum anymore.

No. They could’ve kept them until halo 4 comes out.
