I just got the Anniversary map pack. Will the maps show up in normal playlists like Team Slayer and Living Dead, or only in the Anniversary playlist? I’d like to play the maps without the Anniversary settings.
If everyone has them, they’ll show up in normal playlists.

343i upped the algorithm a while back, but not a lot of people actually own the DLC, so you can barely tell the difference.
It doesn’t exclusively match up with DLC owners, but it tries to find as many as possible.
You won’t play it very much, I can tell you that much.

Especially since two of the anniversary playlists have been removed in the latest update.
The BTB maps have about a 1 in 10 chance of coming up:

There’s plenty of people who have the dlc but 343i removed the playlists because they ‘believed’ it didn’t have enough population which was false. Now you will barely see the dlc ever in big team. I wouldn’t expect them to show up anytime soon. I have played dozens of games over several days, never once seen any dlc whatsoever since the title update.
Your best bet is Team Slayer since it is a smaller lobby playlist.As for BTB some people had an anniversary map pop up but not for me.

It came up practically in every lobby I played in Team Slayer today!
They’ve come up for me a few times in BTB, as well!
Definitely comes up more often in smaller playlists. It’s the BTB maps that we really got shafted on, those hardly come up at all, and if they do, they probably won’t get voted.
