i have a question i got halo anniversary it has a code to get the map packs does this code enable the maps on reach from anniversary or do i have to download the 1gb map pack

Press the guide button>Marketplace>Redeem Code>Put the code in there, and your download will start. This will download the CEA multiplayer maps to your reach disk.
If you want to play the maps via your Reach disk then yes you have to download the DLC using the code.

It’ll be the same size.

It is the same information whether you get it from the Market place or from the code. I would assume it would have to be the same size.
that sucks because i only have 10 gb broadband and ive already used 3 gb and it resests on dec 9th
Maybe I’m just confused here, but the maps aren’t on the disk at all?
they are on halo cea disk but u can put it on the reach dis for all them maps
I thought we just had to have Reach installed in order to play ever map from the CEA disk?

The code is to be able to use the Reach disk for all of MP. You can play the game with just the anniversary maps without DL’ing them.
I thought I;d post this to help clear up any confusion:
"If you own Halo: Anniversary but not Halo: Reach, you will launch the Anniversary maps from the disc menu.
If you own Halo: Anniversary and Halo: Reach, we recommend installing the maps using the Anniversary Map Pack code that comes with Anniversary. You will then be able to launch the Anniversary maps from both the Anniversary and Reach menus.
If you purchase the Anniversary Map Pack, you will install the maps like any other piece of DLC. You will then be able to launch the Anniversary maps from the Reach menu.
Now, back to business. In previous Bulletins, we took deep dives into the majority of the maps, but in an effort to save you the time of digging deep within our archives, I’m going to summarize all seven of the included playspaces. I think I’ll even throw in an overhead shot of each map. Because yes, despite what you may have heard, I really am that nice. Well, every once in a while, anyway."
