It’s possible to customize the settings for the game type using Custom Games to make it more closer to CE’s multiplayer, but for the playlist it needs to be checked officially. 343, if you can, please fix the playlist. Make it as accurate to Halo CE as possible.
Yea since every re release of Halo CE is based on the original PC port of Halo CE things are a lot different. Hopefully 343 can fix the version now or port the original Xbox version over to anniversary.

Keep in mind that the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary multiplayer was built within Halo Reach multiplayer. The time, money, and effort needed to recreate the CE multiplayer would have been it’s own beast. Not to mention it would have taken attention away from the Master Chief Collection which has the classic CE multiplayer experience.
