Animated Pummels

The title pretty much explains it all perfectly, but none the less i am still going to do my best to explain what i mean, and what i mean by animated pummels is I want the animation i get during an assassination to happen whenever i hold down the beat down button while pummeling them from the front. It would also be super cool in awesome of the 343 if they put this in (which im sure they all ready thought have and is probably in the game because i know the cool like that) to make perhaps so two players can have a very brief but none that less awesome duel hand to hand combat style with fists and knives

I’ve seen FPSs that do stuff like this,

but I think it would take to long and might be seen as cumbersome to some people.

That seems like it would only slow down gameplay. Assassinations are fine because they’re harder to pull off and provide an instant-kill, hence they kind of operate like a ‘-Yoink!-’ game mechanic. But everyone would begin to overuse animated melees; only to slow down the game in the process.

Fine, we’ll call it a First-person shooter, only with some Third-person shooter elements.

Don’t forget this and this!!!

They should reduce melee damage down to like, 30% and add in melee combos.

as awesome as i think that is, i don’t believe it would fit in this game. Man, would I love to have melee combos in shooters.

it really wouldnt slow down game play and would only last about as long as an assassination does i don’t want full blown fights just quick little 2-3 second ones.
