So call of duty has had animated nameplates for a while. Halo MCC eventually got them. I’m sort of surprised not seeing them in infinite.
I understand the “emblem” next to your name in the scoreboard might have to stay stagnant but I think it could work if each animated nameplate is assigned a stagnant emblem related to the animation 
I think this would look really cool

MCC added in a type of nameplate system and some of those were animated, so its not entirely out of the question
Infinite’s is more like 5’s were its a more preset title card of sorts, so how they animate it I am unsure.
Halo 5 had animated nameplates and emblems example one of the halo reach emblems had animation
did it now? aaah thats pretty cool
so that means there do be a possibility of it happening, will be interesting to see how it will happen so.

It’s basically the halo reach loading screen as a emblem
What was silly was when some were animated and some weren’t but looked like they could have been
