Andrew De Rio of the UNSC Infinity

I hope he’s better than the last captain. Seriously, I’m I the only one who doesn’t like Miranda’s character at all. But lets get to the point. We have no information about Andrew except for his name. This is the man that is suppose to be aiding us in the Reclaimer Trilogy.

So what do you hope his personality is like? Just a little fun to pass the time.

probably hispanic

What i find interesting is that De Rio might be that recruit that was inspired by MC to rise through the ranks in the UNSC in the Forward Unto dawn mini series for Halo 4.

Naval Officers Who Have Perished Under Chief

Captain Jacob Keyes
Commander Miranda Keyes
Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb

Yeah, his odds aren’t too good.

You had about 9 years dude, ;D

Infinity might be the ship of Halo 4 but every game has had its own ship. LITERALLY EVERY GAME HAD ITS OWN SHIP.

HaloCE: Pillar Of Autumn

Halo 2: In Amber Clad

Halo 3: Forward Onto Dawn

Halo 3 ODST: Say My Name(I think)

Halo Wars: Spirit of Fire

Halo Reach: Savanna

Halo 4: Infinity

Halo 5: [Empty Slot]

I’d love to see the Infinity get blown up some time during the Reclaimer trilogy, but even if its only the main ship in H4, I don’t think it should die in H4.

At least Lord Hood is still alive

I believe Reach had the Grafton on ToTS and the UNSC Stalwart Dawn (mentioned only in Exodus and is not seen during the Falcon ride).

My money is that the Infinity blows up in Halo 5 :stuck_out_tongue:

Like Captain Keyes. That man was badass.

Really bad odds…

So what’s with this guy? Where did people hear about him?

> So what’s with this guy? Where did people hear about him?

He was mentioned in the book written by Karen Travis. Halo Glasslands it was called.

> So what’s with this guy? Where did people hear about him?

Halo: Glasslands.

The Pillar of Autumn wasn’t destroyed on Reach. Grafton, Savannah and mostly likely the Stalwart Dawn were all destroyed in the battle of Reach.

Grafton is taken out by the Long Night of Solace on Tip of the Spear.

Savannah gets owned by The Corvette in the next level.

Since the Covenant fleet started arriving on Reach, the Stalwart Dawn was probably taken out as well.

That was exactly my theory.

Imagine what is going to happen when Andrew Del Rio rescues his hero, the one who inspired him to rise through the ranks and captain the most advanced and technologically superior ship ever constructed by humanity, the UNSC Infinity.

I forgot about Whitcomb. But they accomplished the mission so I’d call it a win.
idk, maybe De Rio is a total boss, and doesn’t try to take on 10 brutes with a shotgun and a pistol.

rip Miranda. You always could’ve used the pelican’s nose cannon.

Del Rios mind is going to be blown.

Just imagine all the other soldiers who signed up to be Spartan IVs who may have been inspired by the Chief as well. 343 has the potential to do some amazing things with this story angle.

Only to discover the Legend never died. He was just taking a cat nap :P.

> You had about 9 years dude, ;D

You missed the reference. Move along…

EDIT: I do hope this time multiple leaders at very least manage to last 3 games. To have a few -Yoink- commanding officers last the entire trilogy (to the end) would be interesting…
