Anders R&D leader power

I propose Anders R&D leader point allows her to Tech 2 faster.
1 point in R&D reduces all energy upgrades by 10% including Tech 2 and Tech 3
Anders could tech 2 at 900.
2nd point 20%
3rd point 30%
Would this help Anders be more viable.

That is a valid point. I wouldn’t mind that at all. It’s a distinct advantage but considering her other powers are mostly trash its a good compromise. I reckon this would work.

Still not enough and right now it’s at 15% 30% 50% so why nerf it I like the idea but make it 2 points on top of what you said 1st point 25% 2nd 50%

I’m just wondering why would you want to nerf r&d from 50% to 30%? She needs help not a nerf. I like tech 2&3 idea

personally i dont think anders is appreciated for what she does. her kit is a support kit. reconnaissance and indirect fire. her R&D isnt about helping her tech 2 faster. it’s about helping her have a better army by upgrading it. making it so that she can get to tech 2 faster by something as simple as a skill point would make her overpowered and remove any strategy involved in her early game. the opponents would have to struggle to stay alive just to make it to end game. with her R&D spaced out between each individual building as it currently is and not just a global everything gets cheaper buff she still has to think about the situation at hand and what sections of her army she needs to build at any given point in time.

right now anders can build both supply pads and generators. if it were changed she’d stop building generators and just be rushing with supply pads because she’s going to beat you to tech 2 anyway.

It’s not a nerf when you add the tech 2 and 3 discount and 25% and 50% is way to much of a discount. Especially on teching up

I meant dropping r&d from 50% to 30% and she is so bad I doubt giving her tech 2 would make her unbeatable. It might though

Don’t forget R&D makes upgrades take less time as well. A fast Tech 2 for her is what she needs. Get those extra sentinel upgrades

its not that much faster and I don’t think having faster tech in this game makes a difference by much. mainly because ive won multiple games having a slower tech 2 but I had map control as cutter.
