Anders quick hogs

hey ppl

Just wondered what a good build would be for getting a hog rush goint quick with anders?

Probably just making a few supply pads with a reactor for upgrades then puring out the Warthogs and upgrading them.

define hog rush

Higher level unsc/arby mirrors (2s or 3s)

reactor 3rd 5 hog gunner, reactor 5th grenadier.
Ask your covy to leave you more crates your side of the map. Your hogs shouldn’t usually go to the enemy side for crates, while covy scouts should, and should harass enemy unsc hogs.

Pump gren while upgrading pads, and attacking covy base. Clear an expo with 2 hogs if you want to.
Note, you can attack the unsc and covy at the same time, if they don’t go hogs.

With just 4 hogs, 2 gren on both the unsc main and covy main can deny pads or depos indefinitely, if they don’t go hogs/turrets themselves.
If you force their arbiter to recall, your arbiter will outdamage, then outair them.

tech 3 on expo if going gauss. Fortress; then depo and pad if going tanks.

Grenadier does significantly more damage than gunner, and it’ll force an arbiter to recall if you get gren and attack their base, because you’ll strip them very quickly if they don’t recall.

When attacking an arbiter, spread your hogs (ex; half on each side of the port. If he recalls, send your hogs in opposite directions). The better you can do this, the more effective your hogs will be. A good anders will lose a hog or 2 max if an arbiter recalls.

Also, it only takes 1 gren hog to deny covy buildings. If you clear an expo, or are fighting elsewhere, send a hog at his base to deny pads. Usually it’ll take him a while to kill it, and you’ll deny atleast 1 pad/summit/etc making it worth it.

Hogs are extremely effective when paired with top tier micro

NOTE:

If you are playing low ts people or UA, this build will suck. In arby mirrors, both arbiters go to the opposing covy bases, meaning that your gren are free to do as much damage as they like. In UA, covys are usually clearing bases, or just chillin in front of their base, so they’ll kill your inital 5 gren.

We’re way beyong helping turbo at this point, but quick grenadier should lose to a normal gauss build in double arby/anders mirror on deen. You’re forced to clear an expo for the first 3 1/2 minutes while they have hog lead, while the other person can be stripping a base with just gunner. when you get grenadier, you can either chase away the gunner hogs and kill maybe one, or go on offense and an arbiter can just recall since your arbiter is stripped. Regardless, you shouldn’t be able to get an early expo up in that mirror, and so your gauss will be behind, which is more important in anders vs anders. This is what i’ve found scrimming Gc a few times.

edit: if you go on offense straight away, you won’t do as much damage in the beginning, and then you will just force a recall when grenadier finishes. It won’t really put my covies behind, and your gauss is still very delayed.
