I dont care how the movie looks… I care about the story. It obviously won’t surround masterchief because that is covered in the games and it would ruin the experience… so what would it be about?

if here, right now, truely is “Halo halftime”, then (in theory) there could be more games after H6.
there were six Halo games released in the past ten years (7 if you count CEA). being that this is supposedly Halo halftime, there could be 6 (or 7. Halo 2 Anniversary?) more games.
PS: a Halo movie isnt just a possibility. The Grand Frankster Himself said it’s inevitable.

Glasslands, Ghosts of Onyx, Contact Harvest, Cole Protocol, Cryptum, Primordium, H3: ODST, Halo Wars, and Reach didnt surround Master Chief. they turned out okay, right?

The first section you quoted there is obviously refering to the Halo Universe in general, yes. The second half however, is obviously refering to Halo 4.
On another note, the only other games I could see being released after Halo 4, are Halo 5 and 6, ODST 2, and Halo 2 Anniversary. Maybe a Halo: Harvest.
It’s talking about the revival of the series. Just like the Super Bowl commercial with Clint Eastwood talking about America getting ready to F sh t up again.

Of course there will be more games after H6. this is a multi-million dollar franchise. 343 is not gonna just STOP making halo games after this trilogy is done.

thats a quite ridiculous statement. you cant judge whether there will be more Halos until after you’ve played Halo 6. if 343 hadnt said there would be a 5 and 6, many would say Halo 4 is the going to be the last Halo.

Of course it would follow Master Chief. A movie would be an adaptation. It would be non-canon to the games. It would be based on the events in the games and books but be told very differently.

Not me man. I always hope for more Halo. I enjoy the story too much. I ain’t judging anything either. Just saying. We know Halo 5 and 6 are coming because 343 said it was a trilogy. Fans are clamoring for an ODST 2 and a Halo 2 Anniversary. 343 said they’d consider the Halo 2 Anniversary if fan reception and sales of Halo: CEA were good. Which they were and fans want more. And who wouldn’t want a Halo: Harvest? It was the very beginning of the war with the Covenant. Who would not want to see that? Then again, that would make better ground for a movie than a game since it would end much the same way as Reach. I highly doubt that 343 would make another Chief trilogy after the Reclaimer Trilogy. It just wouldn’t make sense at all. He’s done his duty, fulfilled his destiny. I could not see anymore NUMBERED entries in the series after Halo 6. Sort of like how Final Fantasy gets spin-offs to hold fans over until the next numbered entry in the series.

sorry, what i meant is: i think there will be more than Anniversary 2, ODST 2, and Harvest. im talking about Main Story games. you cant assume Halo 6 will be the end of the main story.

Actually, they stated that Halo 4 is the start of a new trilogy, meaning a Halo 5 and 6 WILL happen.
