Ancient Enemy=Tier 0 species?

I was clicking random pages on the Halo Wiki and came across the forunner Technological Achievement Tiers.
Frankie has said that the ancient enemy wont be obvious. And there will be a “Holy -Yoink-” moment when we find out who the enemy is.

According to the Technological Advancement Tiers, a Tier 0 species is a race that can travel across galaxies and accelerate the evolution of intelligent life.
Maybe “ancient enemy” will be a Tier 0 species, which I believe the Precursors are.

Really? Ive never seen an article explaining what Tier the Precursors were in…

A tier 0 species, imo, sounds ‘OP’. I mean, the human race had trouble not getting annihilated by the covenant, which is like Tier 3 or 2 (too lazy to look up). How can John possibly compete with a tier 0 species? I bet they would telepathically zap his -Yoink- lol.

Maybe the Forunners could assist him. Assuming they’d even be in the game. After all, they did rebel against and defeat the Precursors.
