Oh noooooo! Nooooooo! Why did they reveal them! Seriously though, I was hoping that they wouldnt tell us until the day it came out, just so it would be like seeing the Flood for the first time.
I don’t think I want to see it… But part of me thinks that I can’t go on until release without seeing some spoiler or clue.

I hate misleading threads.
If the writer had actually bothered to read the forerunner trilogy (thus far…), then he’d see there are two books worth of content that support the didact and humans getting along. Hell, the entire fact that the forerunners gave us ALL their crap is pretty supportive of them being friendly.

So I wouldn’t read too much into it. It’s all speculation from the author. It’s a really good theory but it does NOT necessarily mean this is the “ancient enemy”
