Anchorman Easter Egg

Anchorman fight scene aftermath

So, anyone who’s seen Anchorman knows the crazy fight scene, and afterwards, Brick says “There were horses, and a man on fire. And I killed a guy with a Trident!”
One of the Breakout maps is named “Trident” and the description is “There were warthogs, and a Spartan on fire.” Really cool subtle reference.

Cool.

Awesome!

LOL, I didn’t even think about that. Nice connection

I was always confused because there aren’t Warthogs on that map. Now I know.

I think that you’ll find that theres several subtle little references to other stuff in Halo 5.

343 is pretty neat like that

To name a couple, the stance “Engage” has the description “make it so” referencing Picard from Star Trek and all the EVA variants are named after astronauts (Hadfield, Leonov, Solovyev, Zhigang (yes, I too googled the last three))

Wow, I didn’t catch any of those easter eggs, but I did find a few others. The Liftoff stance description “to the moon” is a reference to The Honeymooners from 50’s television, and the Clockwork visor happens to be… Orange.
