Sorry but getting now an weapon emblem is just a big joke.
In general it’s a big joke cause it is actually content that was cutted from the original 120 Battle Pass.
But even if it wouldn’t be part of it, it’s a so big joke. “Look, a weapon emblem”.
Whoever is resposinble for this… What the hell?
This is so non-worth the time.
But for real. Why is there no armor piece or something like this? Something that is actually worth it.
But congratulation to make a system, which already is bad, even more worse.
There is no forge, no really costume games [options there are still really a bad joke], not even a rank besides that bs of ranked playlist and bp like Recruit, Sergeant, Major, General etc. Also no server selection cause playing on US servers sucks cause getting killed while you are behind a big wall kinda sucks so there is no real fun in
Yeah I logged in and saw the icon that I already earned in a previous weekly ultimate. I thought “wait, didn’t I already earn this?” And it turns out it’s the weapon emblem version of the nameplate. My disappointment went through the roof.
Another way of looking at it is this: this week, and maybe even the next few weeks you won’t feel the weekly ultimate reward is worth your time, which is fine!
Maybe this is an opportunity for you to just enjoy playing the game for itself without having to worry about completing challenges and unlocking the latest and greatest thing.
And if you’re really wanting to earn some content, the Winter Contingency holiday event is out now, and for the next 10 days all you have to do is log on and play one match a day in a certain playlist to unlock some really cool rewards — including armor pieces and coatings.
That’s easy compared to trying to get the weekly ultimate reward, and sounds like more of what you want anyway!
There is no server selection, I’m mostly forced to play with US players. So where can I have fun when I’m killed by high ping and bad server and not by an superior enemy?
And what happens when they throw up a helmet or other armor piece and you’re out of town on vacation?

I can understand this sentiment, but I’m off this week. I was looking forward to sitting back and grinding out some easy challenges so I could get a new cosmetic reward. I don’t know why this reward wasn’t just lumped into the previous weekly ultimate that has the exact same icon for the nameplate. Like, if they want to have filler weeks, just throw all the duplicates of the icon into the same week. Give me the nameplate, armor emblem, weapon emblem, and vehicle emblem all in one go. They don’t need to pad it so much.

@VyperStryke I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit. I didn’t get my sniper coating a couple weeks ago because my weekly challenges were so crappy and time consuming that I played for 20 hours that week and still wasn’t even close. I just gave up. I don’t think it would be too outrageous to occasionally give the user a milestone challenge or something that allows them to earn a previous drop if they put in some serious work.
Maybe each month have a “Monthly Ultimate” that requires consistent playtime each week and it randomly drops a previous unlock that you haven’t earned yet (or maybe even a targeted one if a player really wants a specific unlock)
And here I thought I was getting another go at the nameplate. Damn. I had stalled out at 6/15 wins on the final challenge. I guess I didn’t sacrifice enough :[
After what has been going on since the “Beta” I don’t see why anyone is surprised with 343 cheap tactics, especially with all the false promises they made to get you guys to buy the battle pass. The thing is, it’s going to get worse over time and this forum is going to get worse over time with all the BS 343 is pulling to sell their product.
So with the “tweaking the system”, how are the prices and items that should be earnable just by playing the game that is in the shop coming along that have not changed?
They are tweaking to what works for them, not the player base. Sure they will make tiny adjustments but it’s nothing significant that anyone can say has improved things.
What I feel they should do is make emblems one thing and not separate them between nameplate, weapon, and armor. If you get an emblem in the shop then it should apply to everything, not just one thing. Really quite infuriating and disappointing.
I’m irked because I ground out this emblem two weeks ago for my ID. Now I have to do it again for weapons. Am I going to have to do it again in two weeks for my armor, and again two weeks after that for my vehicles?
The battlepass progression has improved a to . I recall seeing posts about them investigating the price of things in the store. Ultimately, we can speculate all day on whether things will improve or get worse. I’ll just try and view it from a glass half full perspective and enjoy what we have right now.
Maybe you didn’t read what I actually said because I said ( significant. ) Making tiny adjustments are the norm to the major amount of issues in this game. Putting a ban-aid on something for a temporary solution to a big problem isn’t working.
