I’ve been think of ways to please the crowd that doesn’t like intros/outros and the crowd that does like them here’s one solution I came up with.
Intros for arena matches should only play when it’s a party vs party or a clan vs clan match instead of having it play every match. To add to that instead of having the walk in and pose intro for those matches they should instead have this one that starts at 3:30 in this video HALO 5 Gamescom | Full Segment | 1080p - YouTube. This will let people know that they are up against people that may be skilled as a team and will give them a tough match.
As for outros I don’t believe they should show after every match ends I instead believe they should only show up when you’ve won a close match or won a match where you were getting your butts kicked in the beginning and decided to better yourselves in order to win the match. This could also re introduce the high five outro as I believe in real life people only high five each other after doing something that they believe is a good accomplishment and winning tough games is an accomplishment. I don’t believe the high five is immature and I prefer it over the new outros.
My solution to almost every gripe is to put the option in. But since it’s not a PC game that solution isn’t so easy. Personally I liked the old outro, it gave the SIV’s some corp personality, and was quite surprised that enough people complained to get it changed to the current extremely lame and rigid outro.
However I would have suggested that maybe some kind of military bro action would have been better than both. Some sort of fist bump (with the back of the arm/fist) Nods in unison, or an intimidation gesture would have been cool. Or heck a choice between 2 or 3 gestures your spartan would do. But again, not a PC game, so Less customization.
Though I disagree about not having outro’s/intro’s play all the time, I think they should play all the time, but skippable would be nice.
I just wish we could have a round ending killcam.
I actually liked the old ones. They had personality, energy. they felt real.
They should have the old intros and outros because they really show how different Spartan 4s are from Spartan 2s I do believe instead of the loosing team looking at the winning team outro they should on were there Spartans are mad or salty.

I like the idea of using intros/outros for specific, relevant matches as you described. +1.
You guys are tripping hard, the intro and outros literally last a matter of seconds. Its an aesthetic choice to show you your team, show off everyones armor before the match and provide a sense of immersion. They are fine as they are, they have done enough changing of perfectly fine stuff and need to stop listening to a vocal minority.
I liked them in beta. Was a good way to show off your armors.

Sorry, but your opinion isn’t important enough to consider everyone else as the minority.
An option would be fine for this if that could be implemented, but it isn’t too important of a feature either way.
