An Optimistic View

After reading the new info from GameInformer, I thought Halo was dead… Until I thought about it some more. I know that what I’m about to say may be a little too hopeful for some, but hey, why not say it anyway?

All of the changes including loadouts, random weapon drops, drop-in/out games, armor perks, etc. may only be limited to the “social” (casual) side of the multiplayer. For all we know, ranked multiplayer could equal Halo 2, except with Sprint.

All I’m really trying to say is have patience, Halo 4 COULD still turn out to have a good multiplayer. We shouldn’t just assume the entire game is going to be like COD, especially since 343 was practically preaching the whole “choose how you play!” thing with the recent Halo Reach playlist adjustments. Hopefully this time they aren’t as extreme and divided.

Optimism is rare nowadays, most point of views in people are now pessimism, realism, and opportunism.

I gladly look forward to Halo 4 like a true mature fan would.

That was my first thought, too. I’m sure 343 knows what they are doing to cater to both audiences.
