Hey to all the community team at 343. First i want to say that you guys are the best team right now in the game industre, no other team has been more open to us them you guys. But there’s a thing that bothers a lot of players in game development: The gap between players and the development team, even that the team are being very open with us, right now we don’t have any updates in a lot of important things, I am not asking for ETA or something like, I know that there is a large amount of work that needs to be done, i am just asking that you guys share how stuffs like roadmap, forge, DLC are going right now, the last time we have something on the roadmap was a month ago and because of this gap the players don’t know what’s happening and what expect.
We need to know what’s happening, how things are going. The gap distance gets bigger when you guys just give us the news right before the update it’s ready to lauch, it’s great to know that something is ready, but it’s better when we can see step-by-step. Change things like “we get back to you when have more news” or “we have more to talk soon” for “the roadmap it’s almost ready maybe 80%”, “The forge is not ready, we gonna need at least 3 more weeks”, “We have 3 maps amost finished maybe, we will talk more in the end of this month.” then after the time has passed get back to us with something, this way we know when we gonna have new info. It’s great that the team is talking to the community but sometimes you guys let too much space for interpretation and then we put our hopes so high and when you guys have great news it looks like nothing. Please have a more open conversation with us, in terms of what pace things are working. right now I feel that the gap it’s only growing in the game industre and you guys could be the first ones trying to close this gap.
